  2. Step 2: Stir in the paella rice and cook for another 2 minutes, coating the grains well with the paste.
  3. Step 3: Pour in 800ml of boiling water, bring to a simmer, then cook uncovered for 12-15 minutes or until the liquid has been absorbed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
