Paella Base
- 205g jar of paella paste
- 300g paella rice
- 800ml boiling water
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for paella)

- 300g pack stir-fry vegetables (without beansprouts)
- 130g pack roast turkey slices
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for vegetables)
- 50ml water (for steaming vegetables)
Instructions
- Prepare the Paella Base: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add the paella paste and fry it for 1 to 2 minutes to release its aromatic flavors.
- Add the Rice: Stir in the 300g of paella rice and cook along with the paste for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the rice to lightly toast and absorb the flavors.
- Simmer the Rice: Pour in 800ml of boiling water, bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to maintain a gentle simmer. Cook uncovered for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the liquid has been fully absorbed by the rice. Season the mixture to taste.
- Cook the Vegetables: In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over high heat. Add the stir-fry vegetables and fry for 1 to 2 minutes to soften slightly while retaining a crunch.
- Steam the Vegetables: Add 50ml water to the vegetables, cover with a lid, and steam for 2 to 3 minutes until tender but crisp.
- Combine Turkey and Vegetables: Tear the roast turkey slices into bite-sized pieces. Stir the turkey and steamed vegetables through the cooked paella rice in the large pan, mixing well to combine all flavors and ingredients.
