Ingredients

Scale

Popsicle Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Fresh Spinach
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Kiwifruit
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger

Instructions

  1. Blend Greens and Milk: Combine 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of fresh spinach, and 1/4 cup of fresh parsley in a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Add Fruits and Sweetener: Add 1 banana, 1 kiwifruit, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1 tablespoon fresh ginger to the blender. Blend again until the smoothie is smooth and creamy. Taste and add more honey if you prefer it sweeter.
  3. Prepare Popsicle Molds: Peel and slice the remaining kiwifruit into thin slices. Place a slice or two into each popsicle mold to add texture and visual appeal.
  4. Fill and Freeze: Pour the blended green smoothie mixture into each popsicle mold over the kiwifruit slices. Freeze the molds for at least 6 hours or until fully set and hard.
  5. Remove and Serve: To easily remove the popsicles, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to loosen them. Then gently pull out the popsicles and enjoy your nutritious frozen treat.

Notes

  • Use whole milk for creamier popsicles or substitute with almond milk for a dairy-free option.
  • Adjust the honey quantity to your desired sweetness level.
  • Add a little lemon juice for a tangy twist.
  • For a smoother texture, strain the spinach and parsley mixture before adding fruit.
  • Make sure the molds are completely frozen before removing to prevent breaking.
