Description

This delightful strawberry cream cheese fruit dip is a creamy, sweet, and tangy treat perfect for pairing with fresh fruit, pretzels, or cookies. Made with softened strawberry cream cheese, sour cream, honey, and marshmallow fluff, it offers a fluffy texture and a burst of fresh lemon zest that balances the sweetness beautifully. Easy to prepare and chilled before serving, this dip is ideal for parties, snack time, or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Dip Ingredients

  • 7.5 oz. softened strawberry cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 45 drops red food coloring (optional)
  • 7.5 oz. marshmallow fluff

Instructions

  1. Soften the Cream Cheese: If using a block of cream cheese, leave it out at room temperature for up to 1 hour until fully softened for easy blending. If using a small tub of strawberry cream cheese spread, it will likely be soft enough as-is.
  2. Combine Base Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix together the softened strawberry cream cheese, sour cream, honey, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and red food coloring (if using) until smooth and evenly blended.
  3. Fold in Marshmallow Fluff: Gently fold the marshmallow fluff into the cream cheese mixture. Stirring too much will reduce fluffiness, so it’s okay either to fully combine or leave some light swirls for texture.
  4. Chill the Dip: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld and to keep it nicely chilled. The dip can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  5. Serve: Transfer the chilled dip to a serving bowl and pair it with fresh fruit, pretzels, and/or cookies. For a stylish presentation, serve in a dip bowl placed on ice to maintain its cool temperature.

Notes

  • For softer, easier blending, fully soften cream cheese before starting.
  • Red food coloring is optional and used to enhance the pink hue of the dip.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to taste.
  • This dip pairs excellently with strawberries, apple slices, pretzels, and graham crackers.
  • Keep the dip refrigerated until just before serving to maintain texture and freshness.
  • Stir gently when folding in marshmallow fluff to maintain fluffiness if preferred.
